Abstract: At the present time, everybody who wants to enter the university will be admitted, so these is more and more lowering in his or her scholarship. I, in charge of "Japanese Expression Practice" have noticed that many problems are latent in the sentences my students write. They are neither the wrong words nor the false substitute characters but more essencial problems such as the way of looking at things or the way of thinking. Thesefore I have corrected the writing of the sentences again and again, guiding them to deepen their way of looking at things and that of thinking. Consequently it has been revealed that the students "aren't able to write sentences" but they "haven't tried to write (because they haven't been guided adequately)" and "they haen't tried to think the background of the things." Moreover they haven't acquired the fundamental learning habit, "to study repeatedly" as the background of the above mentioned. On the other side, it has been pointed out that the learning habit and the learning desire are related to the habit of life. Accordingly I consider that the study guidance of the times when all can enter the university need not only to examine and improve the contents of teaching and the methods of teaching but also to guide at the same time the basic habit of living that was originally cultivated in domestic life.
