Abstract: 目的:A県看護専門学校に所属する教員の教育ニードと学習ニードを明らかにし,その結果に基づき,継続教育プログラム開発に向けた示唆を得る. 方法:A県19校の専任教員157名を対象に質問紙調査を行い,81名(回収率51.6%)から回答を得た.「教育ニードアセスメントツール―看護学教員用―」および「学習ニードアセスメントツール―看護学教員用―」の得点を先行研究の結果と比較し,対象者の教育ニードおよび学習ニードの実態,学習ニードの高い特性,要望の高い学習内容を分析した. 結果:教育ニードアセスメントツールの総得点は平均78.5点(SD16.1),学習ニードアセスメントツールの総得点は平均143.6点(SD15.6)であった.教員経験の浅い教員の学習ニードが高く,教育内容の精選や授業展開に関する学習内容への要望が高かった. 結論:学習ニード充足を主軸に,全教員,教員経験年数5年以内および6年以上,教育管理責任者,2年課程所属の教員を受講対象者とする研修の教育内容を決定した.
Objectives: This study aimed to clarify the current situation of educational and learning needs of faculty members working at nursing diploma schools of nursing in Prefecture A, and to develop a continuing education program. Methods: A total of 157 anonymous questionnaires were mailed to faculty members and the 81 valid responses were analyzed. The measurement tools used were the“ Educational Needs Assessment Tool for Nursing Faculty” and“ Learning Needs Assessment Tool for Nursing Faculty”. Results: The mean total score on the educational needs assessment tool was 78.5 (SD, 16.1). The mean total score on the learning needs assessment tool was 143.6 (SD, 15.6). Inexperienced faculty members had higher scores in items related to learning needs. Many faculty requested information related to methods of selecting educational content. Conclusions: Based on these findings, we suggest continuing education programs for faculty members working at diploma schools of nursing in Prefecture A.
