Abstract:   Performing song accompaniment on the piano is one of the most important skills for kindergarten teachers because singing is indispensable to the kindergarten children. However, some students in childcare training schools are complete piano beginners; it is difficult for them to master many songs kindergartens require. In order to make the students learn more songs, we used simplified music scores. As a result, we found that their motivation for learning was enhanced in addition to the number of songs they mastered increased.
