Abstract: Well known R-K-R (Rydberg, Klein, Ree) potential curves of selected states, by using experimentally obtained molecular constants, are constructed for investigations of the predissociation and perturbation of H_2. These phenomena are observed in the wave length region, in which the absorption spectrum shows ill-fated appearance and has been not always analyzed completely. Since the region corresponds to the first ionization potential (124 418.2cm^<-1>), we have to take account of autoionization. Closeness of electronic potentials, especially in their left side, as well as narrow energy spacings between interacting energy levels are highly important to understand such phenomena. We construct R-K-R potentials by using previously obtained data and discuss on the perturbation or predissociation which are taking place in the electronic states near the first ionization of H_2. We calculated internuclear distances, r_<max> and r_<min>, namely turning points of potential curves by using our R-K-R computer program.
