| Abstract: | On the construction of numbers I am interested in Mathematics education. In this paper I will construct the system of numbers for the sake of elementary and junior high school teachers. Why do I do this? I wrote the reason below in Japanese. We will begin with the axiom of the natural numbers. Our axiom is different from Peano's one. Binary operations (addition and multiplication) will be defined in order to relate our life. We will finish by constructing rational numbers. |
