Abstract: The pacifism of constitution Article 9 is a constitutional fundamental principle, but the interpretation is competed for intensely. In addition, it is expected in future that constitution Article 9 is revised. Particularly, the biggest focus about the interpretation of constitution Article 9 is whether the right to collective self-defense should be accepted. Therefore, in this article, I survey the interpretation of constitution Article 9 and consider whether we should accept the right to collective self-defense legally. Because I think that the right to collective self-defense should not be accepted, I want to prove it legally.
