Abstract: 本研究の目的は,カルテに頼らない情報収集の方法はどのような意義があるかを明確にすることである.研究対象は本学の精神看護学実習対象者3年生79名である.カルテを頼らない情報収集の方法に対するアンケートの内容を,ベレルソンの内容分析の方法を用いて分析した結果, 5つのカテゴリが形成された.そして,カルテを頼らない方法は, 1)学生の主体性を高められる 2)先入観にとらわれず対象を人として向き合える 3)コミュニケーションを駆使できる 4)自分の得た情報の意味づけとしてカルテを活用できる 5)学生の緊張を高め,不安を与える などの意義が示された.主体性を高められない学生については,学生のレディネスに応じた個別的指導が必要であることが示唆された. The purpose of this research is to clarify the significance of the method that does not rely on medical records. The research was conducted with 79 students in the third-year of the psychiatric nursing practicum of our university. Description of the students in interview paper concerning conducting the method which does not rely on medical records were analyzed using the Berelson's content analysis method. As the result of analysis, 5 categories were formed. The following were indicated as significant of the method which does not rely on medical records: 1) Students' independence may be increased. 2) An ability to face the subject as a human without prejudice. 3) Able to make full use of communication. 4) An ability to use medical records are to gather an understanding of the information obtained. 5) Increase stress and create anxiety for students. It is suggested that individualized instruction, depending on the students' readiness, is necessary for students who cannot increase their own independency.
